Overview
I led narrative strategy and design for Arup’s proposal to transform a dangerous, oversized stretch of Sepulveda Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley into a linear parkway.
Beyond simply widening the median or giving the road a “diet,” our concept envisions a corridor where people can walk and bike without fear, where communities have a chance to open up to each other, and where water and nature can flow as they were meant to.
I led concept development and spatial analysis, created all of the sketches, wrote copy, and coached our interview team on narrative approach.
